Are you looking
for ways to increase your wealth? To better your luck? Just want to avoid misfortunes? What about doing all the above plus
adding some beautiful and exotic oriental charm to your living hall?
We have just the
stuff for you to do all the above in the chinese mystical creature called pishiu (pee-sheeu) or pixiu.
The
Chinese have practice the art of feng-shui (geomancy) for centuries and of the many feng-shui enhancing items , the pishiu
has been one of the most recommended, because of its reputed powers, ease of deployment and display properties (as
an art piece). What's more is that, this creature is compatible with people born under any of the chinese
zodiac symbol.
The pishiu has a dragon’s head and tiger’s paws. It is claimed to be a creature without an anus
and therefore is associated with the phrase “what comes in doesn’t go out”, a symbol of wealth accumulation.
Actually the pishiu excrete waste in the form of aroma through its skin pores. This aroma is reputed to attract other creatures
so that the pishiu is never in need to hunt for food (or wealth). The pishiu is said to be wealth accumulating, deflects misfortunes, appease the “ill” stars of the year and is extremely loyal to its owner.
The
Chinese believes in the power of this creature so much that in certain places it has achieve ‘pet’ status very
much like the virtual pet that took the world by storm a few years ago.
If you look at the corporate
office of the wealthiest Chinese, you’ll almost definitely find a pair guarding its main door.
The way
to show one’s affection to it is to stroke it from its nose all the way to the tip of the tail, followed by a few more
circular strokes on the backside. It is reputed that this can stop one’s bad streak when gambling (not that we are encouraging
you to gamble!) and if it doesn’t stop, it could only mean that your opposition or the casino has a bigger pishiu!
